There are the general themes (Sci-Fi, Supernatural Horror and the like) but with what rules they're using, what does Freeform mean?

Is this where the rules are made especially for the game, or what?

Plus, how much experience is needed to play in events? I'd love to get into this stuff, but if your all suffering from elitism... *shakes fist* Shocked

anywho, thanks in advance.

On the pages with game blurbs the line below the the game title is the game system being used.

You want to have a read of the Necronomicon FAQ.
http://www.necronomicon.org/faq/

And in particular:
What is a freeform (in Australia)?

Also 'BESM' is short for 'Big Eyes Small Mouth'. Shocked It is an Anime RPG.

You don't need to an experience rating before playing in any games. Some games have suggested maturity/age levels. But not I don't think most of us suffer from elitism. Very Happy

Leefe.

Freeforms are basically a type of live-action roleplaying (that's why these games have so many characters).

It's very unlikely that you'll need to know any rules before playing; they should be straightforward enough to be explained at the beginning of the game.

If you haven't played one before, you should definitely check out at least one freeform. It's the kind of game that you can't do in your own home easily, so you might not realise what you're missing out on. :)

I's kinda like to play as well... I'm going to be up anyways for the Game of Thrones tournaments... but I'm worried 'cause I won't be up until Friday morning, thus missing the registration evening. Anyone know if you can join games on the day?

I'm especially liking the look of the puppet one Twisted Evil

Hi,
Weather or not you can make it on rego night (Thursday) you are better off pre-registering (send an entryform in before hand). The organisers can then schedule you into games before hand and you wont have to rush around trying to get into a game (plus it is easier on the organisers if people pre-register).

The best way to pre-register is the online entryform.

Make sure you mark that you want to play the Game of Thrones tournaments on the entryform. That way the organisers will not put you in games when the tournaments are running.
