Don Bernardo O'Higgins is my favourite revolutionary leader, for freeing Chile from the tyrannical clutches of the King Fernando VII of Spain.
Also, his name is Don Bernardo O'Higgins. How cool is that?

Hi all,
For me, it has to be JESUS CHRIST. He still effects the world over 2000 years after his Death and Resurrection!
Anyone seen "The Passion of the Christ", produced by Mel Gibson?
Andrew.
PS Please, this post was not intended to start any 'religious flame war'. I do not participate in these. It was intended as an honest answer to the question on my part.

My personal favority is Abimael Guzman, revolutionary leader of the Shining Path movement in Peru in the 1980s
The academic/relovtionary/father figure was taken by the authorities without a shot and preceeded to tell 100s of names of associates to lessen his sentence
Sod the revolution when it's my bacon frying on the hotplate!
